Almine Rech marks its expansion in Monaco with the opening of a new gallery located in the Carré d’Or district, at 20, avenue de la Costa.
The gallery will open to the public on May 2, 2024, with a first presentation featuring intergenerational artworks from the estates and artists represented by the gallery, such as Günther Förg, Turi Simeti, Tom Wesselmann, Minjung Kim, Dr. Esther Mahlangu, Kenny Scharf, Francesco Vezzoli, Gregor Hildebrandt, Carlos Jacanamijoy, Fabien Adèle, Alexandre Lenoir, Ryan Schneider and Thu-Van Tran.
“The Principality of Monaco has historically captivated artists and art collectors from the early 20th century to today. In this inviting cultural context, the gallery has been present in Monaco for the past few years, participating in artmonte-carlo art fair and fostering connections with collectors, institutions and more. I’m delighted to now welcome all of them to this new space, which allows the gallery to further develop its long-lasting relationships within the city and its surrounding area.”— Almine Rech
