P21 is pleased to present Fahrettin Örenli Nature of Me as the first exhibition of 2018. The exhibition features diverse works by the interdisciplinary artist encompassing poetry, drawings, video, sound and photography. Under the title 'Nature of Me', Örenli investigates the relationship of humans as a social construct to their urban surroundings and to nature. Örenli, who sees the cities as giant organic living structures, questions how social structure is transformed through the experience of contemporary phenomena such as globalism, migration, and neoliberalism.
