Alfred Manessier is one of the important painters of the New School of Paris who went towards non-figuration.
He attends the Ranson Academy in the fresco studio directed by Bissière. He exhibits with the group “Témoignages” which brings together not only painters and sculptors but also musicians and writers.Nourished in particular by travels and landscapes, his paintings reveal a deep love for nature while developing an effusion of colour.
He also reveals himself to be a very beautiful artist in black and white through inks conceived at the end of the 50s and in the 60s.
