Anthea Behm’s paintings, photographs and videos address the categories of ‘high’ and ‘popular’ culture. Behm was a 2011-2012 Core Fellow at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. During 2010-2011 she was a participant of the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program. She completed her Masters of Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009 and was a recipient of the Anne & Gordon Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship (Sydney). Behm received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with First Class Honours at the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales in 2005.
