Looking closely at Bruno PEINADO’S works, some of them turn out to be mirrored, reflecting society. He shows old objects that are full of traditions and projects them into the present. They carry motives of modernism and symbols of western wealth. An example is his heavy aluminium dream catcher. Western values like glory, power and money, as is to say the dreams of every business-minded person in this new world, are implemented in these Indian ritual objects. Peinado displays cultures and their moral concepts exchanged and mixed up. This antagonism provokes the spectator. Among others PEINADO has exhibited at the Biennales in Moscow, Sao Paolo and Lyon.
