DIMITAR SHOPOV has a M.A. from the National Academy of Art in Sofia (2007). He works at Theater Sofia and Sfumato as scenographer. He has had three solo shows and participations in numerous group shows in Bulgaria and abroad. In the last 10 year he has been researching the life and work of the artist Gavazov and looking for artefacts connected with him. In 2012 he published a book-catalogue dedicated to the artist.
