Emilio Gomariz works in a large area into the digital field by exploring different behaviours of computer graphics and digital aesthetics through abstraction created using a variety of processes and concepts.
His practice investigates the creative possibilities of the Macintosh operating system and other software by appropriating tools to generate and animate compositions at the intersection of minimalism, conceptual art and geometric abstraction.
His work has been included in group exhibitions at Centre Pompidou in Paris, LEAP Gallery in Berlin, in the Museum of the Moving Image, Mixed Greens and Eyebeam all in New York, The Photographers Gallery in London and has also been part of online group shows at Fach & Asendorf Gallery, bubblebyte.org among others.
Currently based in Alicante, Spain.
