FLORENCE NOTTÉ
Florence Notté is a French photographer whose works bridge between architecture, beauty, and decay. Focusing on the ordinary, the left behind, and the abandoned, her latest series of photography works capture the rich serenity of empty, crumbling spaces. Her style of photography is honest and stripped back to capture the raw and unexpected beauty in scenes that show a sense of deterioration and the passage of time, places long forgotten and asleep that can be reawakened by the eye of a photographer and given second life through photography. To Notté, photography is an honest medium that captures the life, spirit, and energy of the spaces and places that she encounters.
Currently based in Paris, France, Notté has held exhibitions in Paris, Singapore, and New York, and recently lived a number of years in Asia. Her works have also appeared in a number of publications, including Le Point, Elle Déco, Elle Singapore, l’Officiel, Paris International, and Harper’s Bazaar.
