Yu Ji
ChinaYu Ji graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. His work focuses on historical changes and social psychological behavior. His work experiments with intermedia methods and in recent years his work attempts to transmute daily routines into new historical metaphors and cultural content. His works on paper explore the concept of shadows, utilising processes that search for metaphors within the image. The high mountains and historical figures that appearare no more than a symbols. They enter Yu Ji’s sorrow over the history of China and the contemporary social situation.
