Kim Sungsoo (b. 1969) graduated from Busan University and DNSEP Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts de Dijon. The isolation between two countries the artist felt while studying abroad in France is captured in his <Facades>, <Neon City>, <Melancholy>, and <Metallica> series; the artist has exhibited his works domestically and internationally through various solo and group shows, and international biennales as well. Currently, the artist resides and works in Seoul
