Lalin Jinasena

About Lalin Jinasena - The Artist First introduced to photography at the early age of 8 by his father who taught him the basics on his Nikon FE2, Lalin Jinasena has since crafted his art of Photography throughout his years, developing a contemporary art and composition ethos. Frequent visits to Wildlife Sanctuaries in Sri Lanka, where Lalin grew up, honed his self-taught skills. Today his photographs capture moments in time that instil a rare sense of awe. He photographs wherever he travels, and his repertoire includes Wildlife, Portrait, Scenery & Landscapes, Architecture, and Macro photography. Lalin is an award‐winning Designer by profession, specializing in architectural, interior and furniture design. He coupled this passion with his background in hotel management to create Casa Colombo, a multi award winning 12 suite designer hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Lalin is 37, and married to Michelle Sielman, a talented fashion designer. They live in Singapore and travel extensively where Lalin is rarely seen without his trusty camera.
