LANZAVECCHIA+WAI The studio was founded in 2009 following the victory of Time to Design - New Talent Award conferred by Danish Ministry of Culture. This recognition has allowed the duo to participate in a residency at the Danish Art Workshops in Copenhagen during which Francesca and Hunn created their debut collection Spaziale Series. The work of Lanzavecchia + Wai are part of prestigious international collections such as the Rhode Island School of Design Museum, which has acquired their Space Quilt and a bust of the collection ProAesthetics. Selected for several awards, the duo has complied several awards including a nomination in 2013 for the Life -Enhancer of the Year, Wallpaper*, Design Award in 2011 OpenDesignItalia , Wonder Design Award, the Rima Editrice Young Design 2011. Also in 2011, the couple was an Elita Fuorisalone Award finalist, and attended the Talents - Tendence Fair in Frankfurt. In 2008, Francesca was ranked fourth in the Oxygen festival organized by the Italian magazine Abitare.
