MU LEI
Mu Lei (穆磊) is a Chinese painter and multimedia artist born 1984 in Jiangsu Province, China. Having graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Chongqing’s Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2007, Mu is currently based in Beijing as a professional artist. His works often create a de-rationalized version of reality, featuring sensual and enigmatic figures that are rich in detail and movement. In addition to his works of oil on canvas, Mu Lei produces video works and interactive installations.
