Shu-Kai Lin / Born in 1983 in Tainan, now lives and works in Tainan Tainan, a city full of temples, winding alleys and religious symbols, was where Shu-Kai Lin grew up. Lin internalizes the experiences from life and depicts imaginary islands and cities in a way that is almost neurotic. Apart from producing images with religious symbolization, Li also uses hand-made molds leftover by his father’s factory as his material to construct cities of future, showing the unlimited metamorphosis of his imaginary islands and cities.
