Weixin Chong (b.1988, Singapore) graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Printmaking) from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore in 2011 and completed her Masters in Fine Art (Printmaking) from Royal College of Art, London in 2014. Chong is fascinated with the reproductive methods and effects of the printed medium. Using this characteristic quality of print, she translates an idea visually across different materials, thereby letting the image manifests itself in a variety of forms and textures. Chong has shown extensively in venues across Singapore including Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore, The Substation and Post Museum. She has also exhibited internationally in countries such as Istanbul, Vienna and London.
