Kiaf Returns to EXPO CHICAGO 2026

Kiaf returns to EXPO CHICAGO at the Navy Pier Festival Hall from 9 to 12 April, marking its second consecutive year partnering with the Midwest’s leading modern and contemporary art fair. Organised by the Galleries Association of Korea (GAoK), the presentation brings together 12 prominent Korean galleries to showcase over 250 works by more than 60 artists, further expanding the global reach of Korean contemporary art and the Kiaf brand.

Participating galleries include 021gallery, Galerie PICI, Gallery 41, Gallery DASUN, Gallery Grimson, Keumsan Gallery, LEE & BAE, Paik Hae Young Gallery, Sun Gallery, Suppoment Gallery, Duru Artspace, and Gallery FINE. Exhibiting across the fair’s “Galleries” and “Profile” sections, they will present a dynamic range of practices, from established figures such as Kim Hyung Dae, Shim Moon-Seup, Chung Hyun, and Bahk Seon Ghi to emerging artists including Kim Ji Hee, Shim Chanyang, and Yoon Hyanglan.

EXPO CHICAGO 2026 will host over 130 galleries from 25 countries, reflecting its continued international growth since joining Frieze in 2023. Highlights include the “Korean Art Today” panel on 11 April and special VIP programming at the Art Institute of Chicago, offering deeper insight into Korea’s evolving art landscape.
