JIGNASHA DOSHI
Born in 1973 in Savarkundla, Gujarat. She did her B.F.A and M.F.A in Painting from M.S University Baroda 2001.Jignasa has attended several workshops. In 1998 she worked in Reliance world Painting, Ahemdabad, In 1999 she attended a workshop with Vasutha Thauzour Ahemdabad and also attended a workshop with Jaydev Thakura, Baroda. Group shows: 2005, Sarjan Art Gallery, Baroda, 2004 ‘Urban Confluence’, Apparao Galleries, New Delhi, 2004 ‘Artists from Asia’ KressBronn, Germany, 2004 ‘Figurative Naration’, Bajaj Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2004 ‘ Group - Ungroup ’, Gallery no.5, Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi, 2003 ‘Female Imageries’, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, 2003 Fine arts Faculty, Baroda and many more. She won the National Scholarship of Ministry of Tourism and Culture Dept. New Delhi in 2001-03. She also won the Junior Fellowship of Gujarat Lalit Kala Academi Gandhinagar in 1999
