Michael Morley is a New Zealand based artist. He is a Lecturer in Painting and Drawing at the Dunedin School of Art and his research expertise encompasses contemporary art, drawing, painting, video, and sound.
Michael holds an MFA(Painting) from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch and a BA from the University of Otago. He has exhibited in Europe, U.S.A, Australia and New Zealand. Morley also releases sound recordings as The Dead C, and Gate, as well as collaborations with artists - Kim Gordon, Bill Nace, Lee Ranaldo, Nina Canal, Sara Stephenson, and others.
