Victoria McIntosh graduated from the Dunedin School of Art in 1991 with a DFA in Printmaking and again in 2005 with a BFA in Jewellery and Metalsmithing.
Collecting is a key part of her work as a contemporary jeweller. Dunedin's many and varied second hand shops provide the starting point for much of Victoria’s work as she is always on the look out for objects that carry a sense of history. Her aim is to take the familiar and rearrange them in new and unexpected ways.
