NADA New York’s Fresh Venue Embodies a ‘Spirit of Creativity’
The organisation has announced 111 exhibitors for this year’s fair at a new spot in West Chelsea. Save to My Ocula
The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) in New York is moving west to a new venue for its eleventh edition, which it has announced 111 exhibitors for.
Set to open in the Starrett-Lehigh Building at West 22nd Street in Chelsea from 7 to 11 May 2025, NADA will leave its location in the Dia building—its home since 2023 and previous site of the Independent Art Fair, which alongside NADA, will overlap with Frieze New York (7–11 May 2025) this year.
NADA’s executive director Heather Hubbs spoke of the non-profit organisation’s delight to welcome back a ‘vibrant community of artists, collectors, and dealers’ from the new site, ‘against the backdrop of an iconic city landmark that embodies the spirit of creativity and cultural exchange’.
She added the fair will continue its mission of ‘championing vital voices and distinctive presentations’.
Fifty-four first-time exhibitors will partake, including CONSTITUCIÓN (Buenos Aires), DARLA (New York), Dohing Art (Seoul), Eugster || Belgrade (Belgrade), Galerie Noah Klink (Berlin), and Gallery Common (Tokyo), alongside 65 NADA members.
Solo gallery presentations featured include Danielle Fretwell at Alice Amati (London), Alexandria Tarver at Et al. (San Francisco), Lars Korff Lofthus at Entrée (Bergen), Julia Platt at Polana Institute (Warsaw), Oidie Kuijpers at D.D.D.D. (New York), and more.
A dedicated section presented with TD Bank will focus on galleries and artists from Texas and Mexico, curated by Owen Duffy, director of exhibitions at Asia Society Texas. —[O]
