Chris Beaumont studied painting at the Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 1987. He has had 9 solo exhibitions including at Bendigo Art Gallery in 2006. He has been shortlisted for numerous awards and prizes and won the People's Choice of the Arthur Guy Memorial Prize for Painting in 2005. Chris' paintings have been acquired by many corporate collections and his work is represented in the National Gallery of Victoria among others. He lives in Melbourne with his wife Rita and two daughters.
