At age fifteen my father, who was an amateur artist, gave me a manually operated Voiglander camera in order to photograph his paintings, drawings, and works made from forged iron. Later on, I used photography as an “aid” while studying architecture which I never fully completed. I never intended to make a living as a photographer, but now I can´t live without it.
