Para Site, Hong Kong's leading contemporary art centre, will be holding its annual auction from 11–25 October 2018. Over 80 lots will be available, including works by leading artists Samson Young, Alex Prager, Antony Gormley, Firenze Lai, Paul Pfeiffer, Terry Adkins, Simryn Gill, Stanley Whitney, Hank Willis Thomas, Carolee Schneemann, Shinro Ohtake, Matthew Day Jackson, Josephine Pryde, Tobias Rehberger, Lee Kit, Sarah Morris, Ming Wong, and Imran Qureshi, amongst many others. All lots can be viewed and bid on through www.Artsy.net/para-site-auction between 11–25 October. The lots can be previewed in person at the new H CODE by HART Projects (2nd, 3rd, 5th Floors, 45 Pottinger Street) from 19–24 October.
All proceeds from the auction will support Para Site as it continues to grow and engage in a wide array of activities and collaborations with local and international artists, as well as other art institutions, museums, and academic structures in Hong Kong and beyond.
The incredible collection of artworks available for auction this year was generously donated by the numerous galleries, artists, individuals, and organisations, both local and international, whom Para Site has collaborated with in the past.
The live auction will take place at an invitation-only dinner on Thursday, 25 October, 2018 while the online auction at www.Artsy.net/para-site.auction is available to all from 11 - 25 October. The auction will close at 11:15pm HKT on 25 October.
