In 1944, gallerist Denise René opened her namesake gallery in Paris. With profound insight, she endeavoured to present works by international artists in France at a time when such global exchange was not as pronounced as it is today. Since René’s passing in 2012, Galerie Denise René continues to showcase riveting examples of abstract art, Op art, and kinetic art by modern and contemporary artists.
