Detanico Lain French-Brazilian artist duo living and working in Paris. They are a linguist and a typographer as well.
Their work has been shown in different countries and venues such as Palais de Tokyo and Grand Palais, (France). In 2004 they received the Nam June Paik Award, in Germany. In 2007, they represented Brazil at the 52nd Venice Biennial. In France, they did several public art works, including a permanent installation for the Institut de Physique du Globe in Paris, and a piece commissioned by the Louvre Museum for its new Conservation Center in Liévin, recently inaugurated.
