Mind Set Art Center Artists
Working with artists from different backgrounds and stages in their careers, Mind Set Art Center boasts a diverse roster. It brings artists to Taiwan from outside the Asian art circle, including the Romanian contemporary visual artist Ana Maria Micu, Japanese artist Shinji Ohmaki, German-based painter Rao Fu and French painter Jean-François Gromaire. The gallery also works with prominent internationally exhibiting Chinese artists such as Shi Jinsong and Yu Ji, Southeast Asian artist such Marina Cruz and Yee I-Lann, and Taiwanese artists such as Shi Jin-Hua, Lee Ming-tse, Juin Shieh, and Tang Jo-Hung.
Mind Set Art Center Exhibitions and Art Fairs
Mind Set Art Center’s first group exhibition facilitated by Mind Set Art Consulting Co., Ltd., Utopia-Asian Contemporary Art Group Exhibition (2010), which drew more than half its works from collectors and clients of the Company, showcases the gallery's broad approach. It brought together artists from across Taiwan, China and Southeast Asia whose work collectively spanned a wide period, from contemporary Taiwanese artists like Shi and Tang to a figure of the mid-20th century European abstract: Philippine painter Fernando Zóbel. In 2015 the gallery celebrated its fifth anniversary with two exhibitions: ReVision I, which looked reflectively at the fruits of the gallery’s collaboration with artists in the past, and ReVision II, which looked to the future, showing new works by several of the artists the gallery has been collaborating with. Maintaining a presence on the international art scene, Mind Set Art Center has participated consistently in several major international art fairs including Artissima, Turin; Art Dubai; Art Düsseldorf; Art Basel in Hong Kong; Photo Shanghai; and Taipei Dangdai. Since 2012 the gallery has also been active in publishing literature on its artists and exhibitions.
